What is Core Pickleball?

CORE Pickleball is a company based in Ottawa, Ontario. We started six years ago with an idea to help grow pickleball in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.

  • We strive to make pickleball accessible for the enjoyment, health and social engagement benefits to all players.  We help people and organisations get started with pickleball.
  • We work with players to improve their game. 
  • We provide affordable lessons and equipment.
  • We continue working with local governments and organisations to promote the growth of pickleball and  create more playing opportunities
  • Best of all we promote the physical and social benefits of pickleball for all.

Message from the president

I’ve been teaching and helping others all my life.  This is who I am. 

When retirement time arrived, it was very clear to me that I should use my experience to serve my community.

Riding on the leadership experience I gained in the military, I became one of the founding member of the Ottawa Pickleball Association as the first VP.

Add to that the coaching experience I gained in coaching as a level 2 Volunteer Ski Instructor for Disabled Skiers.  

 I decided to create “Core Pickleball Inc”. A company  with good social values that serves the community. It rides on my love for pickleball, my passion for coaching and my desire to keep serving.

I have also been competing successfully in various local, Provincial, National and International sanctioned tournaments at the 4.5 level.

My goal is to help you bring your game to the next level.
